Wilson Official New Partner of Swedish Basketball Federation


[LONDON] – Wilson Sporting Goods are to partner with The Swedish Basketball Federation (SBBF) in a three-year agreement.

The deal makes Wilson Basketball the official supplier of the Swedish Men's Basketball League, Easy Basketball Challenge and Easy Basketball.

For more than eight years, Wilson has been the official Basketball of the NCAA Men's and Women's Championships (Final 4) with over 450 NCAA teams selecting Wilson as their ball of choice. Wilson are proud to add the Swedish Basketball league to this group, following similar partnerships in Italy, Finland, Hungary and Russia where players and coaches turn to Wilson for the game's best performing basketball.

“We are very proud to be the official supplier to the SBBF. Our goal is to do everything in our power to satisfy the players by offering the best basketball products to the clubs involved” explained Chris Weber, European Business Manager for team sports at Wilson.

Wilson Solution Basketballs become the official ball of the Swedish Men’s League, and use patented Moisture Absorbing Composite Leather Cover Technology which providing optimum grip and control for professional players. The ball also utilises Leather Pebbled Channels unique to a game basketballs which absorb player sweat inside the black channels of the ball. The Wilson Cushion Core Technology helps to retain air retention. The ball is designed to perform at the highest level of competitive play.
