E-Commerce Manager

Location: Chicago USA

This position will lead the development and operation of Wilson's North American B2C E-Commerce

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility effectively:

  • Oversee the creation of Wilson's E-Commerce capability by developing the consumer online shopping experience, maximizing traffic and conversion rates while integrating into the Amer global E-Commerce platform
  • Lead E-Commerce based projects:  highlight, prioritize and champion web system, software and hardware enhancements; work with IT and global web teams in the implementation and modification of enterprise system integration; monitor and report on web site traffic usage and performance in order to identify areas of success and areas requiring improvement
  • Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements, and resource allocation to executive team, department leads, support staff and end users
  • Working with the Marketing and Business Directors you will drive product range, pricing and promotions.  Implement and manage consumer acquisition, SEM and display campaigns
  • Define & manage day-to-day operations of Wilson E-Commerce and work with Amer Sports Global E-Commerce to deliver operational excellence
  • Manage all E-Commerce third party providers.  Develop SLA's and report on activities
  • Propose, implement and track key indicators for Marketing, Merchandising, Inventory and Financial performance. 

 


Education/Experience


  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing. 
  • Ability to effectively navigate and manage a merchandising & marketing team in a global matrixed organization
  • 3 - 7 years of experience with Retail E-Commerce, Marketing and/or Merchandising
  • In depth knowledge of E-Commerce  web sales & marketing techniques, order fulfillment strategies along with market research and analysis practices
  • Expertise in leading an E-Commerce business; front office development, marketing, product assortment, mix analysis and pricing strategies
  • Proven project leadership from inception to implementation

  • Graphic and web design principles and a good understanding of current web technologies and database functionalities (SQL)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and associated design software
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Capacity to drive complexity of multi-brands, multi-countries, multi-channels
  • Ability to identify and forecast opportunities and emerging trends
  • Solid attention to detail with strong organization and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present information, respond to questions and work with the cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
  • Willingness to create and drive change (entrepreneurial spirit)
