Senior Finance Analyst

Location: Chicago USA

This position is responsible for the day to day controlling and analysis of the U.S. Golf division. This includes, but is not limited to, month end analysis and reporting, preparation of budgets and forecasts, and analysis of reserves and accruals.  This position would also be responsible for the sales forecasting process across all divisions to ensure the Amer guidelines are being met.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Division lead in preparation of budgets and forecasts for Division
  • Analyzes actual division results based on budgeted and forecasted results on a month-by-month basis
  • Prepares monthly, interim and annual financial reports for division in Hyperion
  • Finance lead for sales forecasting for U.S Divisions, working to create consistency and transparency of the forecasting process
  • Analyzes financial reports and records in order to compile studies outlining the accounting of reserves, assets and other financial information
  • Prepares all product and customer profitability analysis
  • Makes recommendations based on analysis for improvements on current accounting practices and procedures
  • Monitors capital spending and assesses financial return on new projects
  • Coordinates accounting mattes among other departments and locations
  • Support development of management presentations via Excel charts and PowerPoint
  • Responsible for other duties and special projects as assigned

 

 


Education/Experience


  • Accounting Degree required; CPA preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years related experience

  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint with Hyperion and SAP a plus.
