Butch Jones enters his third season with University of Cincinnati. In 2011, Jones was named the BIG EAST Coach of the Year. Also in 2011, UC was the only program nationally to win both its conference championship as well as the league's team academic award. UC ended their 2011 season with a 10-3 record and a Top-25 ranking. Starting his head coaching career at Central Michigan University, Coach Jones' teams won two Mid-American Conference titles (1997, 1999). The Chippewas went undefeated in conference play in 2009 and went on to win the GMAC Bowl. Jones holds a 41-24 record as a collegiate head coach, a 27-10 record in conference play, has four bowl appearances and three league championships to his name.
