NBA Skills Coach Chris Brickley Joins Wilson Advisory Staff

See what "your favorite player's favorite trainer" has in the works with Wilson.

As a Wilson Advisory Staff member, Brickley will provide pro insights and test future Wilson basketball products, including collaborating on a line of high-performance training basketballs made for ball-handling and shooting (the balls are coming later in February 2021). Brickley will also be playtesting and giving feedback on upcoming NBA, WNBA, and NCAA basketball gear.

Brickley is one of the game’s most well-versed skills coaches who works year-round with NBA All-Stars. But the partnership doesn't end with high-performance training balls. Wilson and Brickley will also produce unique digital content focused on Chris' deep training knowledge and motivational tactics, which will be available exclusively to members of the Wilson Live Evo Club (launching early March).

Beyond his expertise on the court, Brickley lives at the intersection of fashion, music, and lifestyle with his own apparel brand, Color Blind. Together, Wilson and Brickley will collaborate on co-branded Color Blind x Wilson basketball products.

We could not be more excited to welcome Chris to our Wilson team,” said Amanda Lamb, Global Marketing Director, Team Sports. “His strong knowledge of the game will not only allow us to design elevated products for players at all levels, but his work off the court will add a fresh, new outlook to our growing basketball Advisory Staff.”

“I am thrilled to officially join forces with Wilson,” said Brickley. “I’ve played with the Evolution ball forever. Their products are at the height of basketball performance and I look forward to creating even more game-changing tools for players at all levels of the game. I could not be more excited for Wilson to become the official ball of the NBA in July.”

Brickley joins Wilson’s Advisory Staff program that was established nearly 90 years ago and is comprised of more than 10,000 professional athletes, coaches, teaching pros, and advisors across a wide variety of sports around the world.
