How to Use a One-Footed Stance for Better Ball Contact
You know the saying… “Putt for dough.” So what's the secret to sinking those money-making putts? Well...channel your inner flamingo. Below is European Tour professional player Richard Mansell's simple one-footed technique to improve your putting stance and stroke.
Follow Mansell's three, easy steps:
1. Set up to hit a putt, aligning the ball with your lead foot.
2. Lift your back foot off the ground so you are balancing on your lead foot. Like a flamingo!
3. Make a smooth putting stroke and feel the difference!
Rinse and repeat 5 to 10 times or until desired results are obtained.
