The 2023 US Open is almost here! This year we invite you to participate in three unique challenges to win ground passes, prizes and more.

For our New York locals, join us in an Instagram scavenger hunt where you will be tasked with using our IG Story clues to locate a jumbo tennis ball hidden at an iconic NYC location. Participants will have a chance to score US Open tickets.

If you’re the sporty type, consider playing to win. From volleyball to basketball, visit one of our retail locations to participate in a variety of sport contests for the chance to win US Open and NFL tickets.

HOW TO ENTER

To participate in the in-person scavenger hunt in New York – with a chance to win two tickets to the US Open – follow @Wilson on Instagram and watch our story on the following days:

On each of those days, we will post a series of clues on our Instagram Story, each leading you closer to an iconic New York destination.You’ll know you’re at the right place if you find a Jumbo Wilson Tennis Ball!

The first person to locate each jumbo ball will then need to present it at one of our three Wilson stores in New York:

The winner from each scavenger hunt will receive two Ground Pass Loge Level Arthur Ashe US Open Tickets and one Jumbo Wilson Tennis Ball!

IN-STORE TICKET CONTESTS

HOW TO ENTER

To play to win via our in-store ticket contests – with a chance to score NFL tickets and prizes – visit our New York, Houston, Chicago and Santa Monica retail locations on the following days:

At the store, you’ll be able to participate in one of the following predetermined challenges with a chance to win:

1. Free Throw Contest: You have sixty seconds to make as many free throws as possible with a special Tennis Ball Yellow Wilson Basketball.

At the end of the day, the participant who makes the most free throws in their challenge will be the winner.

2. Tennis Volley Contest: You will need to count the number of tennis volleys you can make without the ball bouncing or touching the ground. At the end of the day, the participant who completed the highest number of tennis volleys will be the winner.

3. Volleyball Bump Contest: You must count the number of consecutive bumps you can complete before the volleyball drops, bounces, or touches the ground. At the end of the day, the participant who completed the highest amount of bumps will be the winner.

The first-place winner from each contest in NYC will receive two Ground Pass US Open tickets, and the first 100 participants will win a sleeve of US Open tennis balls!

The first-place winner from our Chicago, LA and Houston contests will win either Bears, Chargers or Texans tickets in their respective markets.

Limit one entry per person per day. In the event of a tie for any challenge, Wilson will select the Winner from the tied entrants. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to US residents, 18 and older. PLAY TO WIN WITH PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES

HOW TO ENTER

There will be three opportunities to play to win with professional athletes in New York. Participants will be given 12 attempts to complete a challenge designated by the Wilson athlete.

Athletes and dates are below, with additional details on time and place to be released on @Wilson Instagram closer to the respective dates:

• Baseball/Softball: 4:30-6:00 p.m. EST on Aug. 21 at The Ground NYC (130 Madison St., New York NY 10002)
• Football: 4:30-6:00 p.m. EST on Aug. 24 with Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz at The Ground NYC (130 Madison St., New York NY 10002)
• Basketball: 3:00-4:00 p.m. EST on Aug. 25 with the New York Knicks' Jacob Toppin at our SoHo storefront (594 Broadway, SoHo NY 10012)
  • Wilson Advisory Staff Member, Chris Brickley, will also be in attendance!

The participant who achieves the most successful attempts will win. In the event of a tie, participants will be given ten more attempts. This will be repeated as many times as necessary to determine the winner.

The winner of each challenge will receive two Ground Pass Loge Level Arthur Ashe US Open Tickets.
