When it comes to Wilson tennis rackets, few are as knowledgeable as Bill Severa. With almost four decades of racket engineering and innovation under his belt, Bill is the man behind many of Wilson’s most iconic frames. Once upon a time, Bill and his team set out to create a racket for the modern tennis player and what resulted was Clash, the 2019 racket that turned the tennis world on its head. With the recent launch of Clash v2, the second version of this groundbreaking tennis racket, Bill chatted with Randy Master of TennisONE App about innovation, the testing process, all sorts of bending and the creation of FORTYFIVE° technology.
