Bob Thurman is the Global Vice President of Research & Development (R&D) and General Manager (GM) of Golf at Wilson Sporting Goods Co., where he leads in the innovation and advanced research and development of high-performance sports equipment.

Prior to his role as Global VP of R&D, Thurman spent over a decade in the Wilson Golf business, serving in a variety of roles. His extensive knowledge and expertise in making high-performing golf equipment led to his dual appointment as the Global GM of Wilson Golf in 2023. Thurman earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and his Master of Business Administration from Union University.
