Overview
Anchor the infield with the A1000® 1620, a 12.5” first base mitt made with full grain leather that breaks in fast and forms to your hand over time. The 12.5” reach, single break point design and Reinforced Single Post Web create a deep pocket to help young first basemen pick any throw. Handcrafted in the Wilson Pro Stock® Factory, the A1000® 1620 is designed with young players in mind, offering the combo of agility and toughness needed to play first.
Technology
Flat Finger Binding
Flat Finger Binding gives players who prefer to play with a finger outside the glove greater comfort and control in the field. By reducing the amount of space between your finger and the back of the glove, you’ll experience less pain when making plays
DriLex Wrist Lining
Keeps your hand dry and comfortable on the field and behind the dish
Bold Logos
Bold logos strip away the distractions, allowing outlined, eye-catching Wilson logos to announce a new era in the iconic story of Wilson Ball Gloves.
Full Grain Leather
Game ready from day one, Full Grain Leather offers a soft feel that forms to the player’s hand without a meticulous break-in process. Leather in every A1000® ball glove is formed with the outermost layer of the hide to display its natural grain and texture.
Made in Wilson Pro Stock® Factory
Handcrafted in the same Wilson factory that produces the Pro Stock® A2000® ball gloves, the newest A1000® ball gloves are formed with close attention to detail.
