Founders of The GIST, Ellen Hyslop, Roslyn McLarty and Jacie deHoop reveal their favorite picks to guide your personal gifting.

Ellen Hyslop, Roslyn McLarty and Jacie deHoop are the three co-founders of The GIST -- a sports media company created to break down barriers and inequality in sports coverage. As both former and current athletes, the trio loves getting out to play.

While they have left their competitive days behind them, Ellen, Jacie and Roslyn still hang onto the inner athlete mentality -- finding time for sport and exercise in their rare downtime. And take Ellen, for example -- who has been rehabbing an Achilles injury. That athlete mentality, one that dreads the ‘injury bug,' remains true. And while she has had to shift from play to physical therapy exercises -- Ellen’s found joy in the products and Sportswear pieces that allow her to continue living like an athlete. And Roslyn & Jacie have both continued finding ways to play, whether that’s getting into tennis, reliving their high school basketball days, or even cycling.

• I have been rocking this sweatshirt every single day.
• I love every single color you’ve come out with.
• They are so cozy.

Evolution Shortand Tights

• I absolutely love the new Deep Teal color of the shorts and tights.
• I’ve been wearing these everywhere -- while I’m running, walking and doing my PT exercises. I think I’ve worn the tights for five days straight, actually!
• The Evolution Bike Short I think is awesome and again for someone that was rehabbing it was really nice, because it could actually fit over my boot. It was one of the only things that I could wear for a very long time.

Inbounds Skirt and Jacket

• When I couldn’t walk and was on a scooter, I loved the in-bounds skirt and the in-bounds jacket.
• I wore them constantly.
• They made me feel uplifted, even when it was a hard time physically and mentally.
• You can still look good even when you’re not feeling your best.

Riverside Cropped Poloand Limitless Skirt

• Because of my injury, I haven’t been able to play as many sports as I’d like to this year, but I’ve gotten into golf a little bit. No one is really doing anything cool and stylish in the golf space, which is why I love these pieces on the course.
• I love wearing this polo/skirt combo. They pair perfectly together. I’ve even been wearing the polo underneath my Millennium crew, and letting the collar poke out.
• Overall, this whole look together is really cool for the golf course. There’s not much flavor out there in terms of apparel, so I appreciate this look a lot when I’m playing.

Evolution Basketball

• I played basketball in high school, and have always used a Wilson Evolution. Everyone I knew played with this ball growing up. It’s gotta be my go-to.

• I love the color combo on this piece.
• It feels very authentic to the Wilson brand, and so in line with tennis colors, which is what I love and admire about Wilson.

Limitless Skirt

• I just got into tennis this past year, and I’ve loved playing in this skirt.
• It’s one of those pieces you can wear while playing, and also fashionably.
• It’s super functional for tennis, with the pocket for balls and built-in shorts underneath that are super comfortable.
• I just feel more legit, like a real tennis player, when I wear this skirt!

• I wear this all the time....
• I often wear it with my Evolution short, but I love that I can feel good playing sports and working out in this top. I play beach volleyball in the summers, and this has been my go-to for that!

Triniti Tennis Balls

• I’ve been using these when I’m playing. It’s funny because my playing partner is very big on being environmentally sustainable, so these have been very popular in our household.

Official NBA& WNBA Basketballs

• I played basketball in high school, and I love all the cool collabs Wilson has been doing in the basketball space.
• It’s awesome to see Wilson on court as the official ball of the NBA and WNBA.

JACIE DEHOOP

Millennium Crew Sweatshirt

• I love the Club Navy version, with the neon. I wear it to play tennis all the time.
• I also have the Faded Mint men's version, and I love that one too! It’s so perfectly springy.
• I love the fit of all of these sweatshirts. You can tuck it into pants and jeans, and it looks a little more polished, but you can also exercise in it.
• They’re so cozy. I wear them too much, like seriously all the time.
• People are always asking me about where I got it!

Midtown Skirt

• I’m a tennis player and I wear this every time I play.
• I have the navy one, and I love how trendy it is, I just wear it everywhere. I’m always gravitating towards it and pulling it from my drawers.
• I pair it with my Millennium Crew all the time.
