Wilson Partners with University of Virginia Baseball

Check out the custom Wilson gloves designed for the University of Virginia baseball team.

The University of Virginia baseball program, fresh off its sixth appearance in the College World Series, has entered an exclusive partnership with Wilson® to supply on-field baseball gloves beginning with the 2023-2024 season.

To launch the partnership, each member of the Virginia Cavaliers baseball team customized a Wilson® A2000 baseball glove for the season. Virginia Head Coach Brian O’Connor praised Wilson for its great equipment and excellent service.

“We’re very excited about our new partnership with Wilson and their family of products,” O’Connor said. “They are committed to helping our program compete for championships, and I know that their support will help our current and future players compete at an elite level.”

The Cavaliers, national champions in 2015, have made two College World Series appearances in the last three seasons. When the team kicks off its 2024 season in February, all UVA players will take the field with custom Wilson Pro Stock® gloves. Wilson Baseball & Softball General Manager Jim Hackett complimented the University of Virginia for its consistent performance under coach O’Connor.
