Wilson, Autism Speaks Release Love The Moment A2000 Glove Collection
Check out the seven new Wilson baseball gloves and softball gloves in the Love the Moment collection.
A new set of A2000® baseball and softball gloves in the Autism Speaks® colorway are now available in conjunction with World Autism Month. The seven updated Love the Moment® A2000 gloves – including five baseball gloves and two fastpitch softball gloves – feature Autism Speaks Blue designs, Gradient Bold Logos in the multicolored Autism Speaks scheme, and an exclusive Love the Moment pinky stamp to celebrate Wilson’s partnership with Autism Speaks. In addition to these ball gloves, Wilson is releasing an Evo*Editions Basketball in collaboration with Autism Speaks.
THE 2024 AUTISM SPEAKS A2000 LINEUP
The 2024 Love the Moment A2000 gloves celebrate Autism Speaks with new colors, designs and glove models – ensuring the collection is available to all players in baseball and fastpitch softball.
The 2024 Autism Speaks A2000 1786, an iconic 11.5” infield glove model, is revamped with White SuperSnakeSkin™ panels decorated in the Autism Speaks logo. Battery partners can pick up the 2024 Autism Speaks A2000 B2 pitcher’s glove and 2024 Autism Speaks A2000 CM33SS catcher’s mitt, both featuring Autism Speaks Blue Pro Stock® leather. Multiple gloves – including the 2024 Autism Speaks A2000 DP15SS and 2024 Autism Speaks A2000 PF92SS – boast Pedroia Fit with tighter finger stalls and a narrower wrist opening to accommodate players with smaller hands. New for 2024, the Autism Speaks A2000 H12SS infield softball glove and Autism Speaks A2000 V125 outfield softball glove welcome fastpitch softball to the Love the Moment collection.
These on-field products share a message of inclusion, acceptance and understanding for people with autism. All gloves feature Autism Speaks’ signature Blue color and the Love the Moment mark created specifically for this collaboration.
In addition to the Love the Moment glove lineup, Wilson offers players the option to customize all Pro Stock® gloves with Love the Moment branding on the Wilson Custom Glove Builder. Thousands of players, including professional athletes like Pittsburgh relief pitcher Colin Holderman, Cleveland outfielder Steven Kwan and University of Arkansas softball coach Danielle Gibson Whorton have taken advantage of this option in recent years. New for 2024, Wilson has released the Autism Speaks Wilson Evo*Editions Basketball to share a message of inclusion for people with autism on the court.
Wilson Sporting Goods is proud to support Autism Speaks and will donate 10 percent of the purchase price of all Love the Moment products to Autism Speaks, with a minimum donation of $150,000 each year.
Michael Markovich, the Global Commercial Director for Wilson Baseball and Softball, said the partnership with Autism Speaks has been widely accepted by ballplayers.
“Since our partnership began in 2019, we have received tremendous support from thousands of ballplayers for this collaboration,” Markovich said. ““We wanted to create products that encourage athletes to play with purpose. In order to generate even more funds for Autism Speaks’ mission of increasing inclusion, awareness and research, we are expanding our offerings to include more Wilson A2000s, and for the first time we are offering two Love The Moment fastpitch softball gloves plus a Wilson Evo*Editions Basketball. And we expect to add more products in the coming years. We’re also encouraging all our distribution partners to join us in the mission to create a nationwide community more welcoming of all people on the spectrum and their families.”
Ketih Wargo, Autism Speaks President and Chief Executive Officer, said Wilson’s continued support empowers the organization to do good for people with autism by addressing the diverse needs of the community and fostering kindness around the world.
“At Autism Speaks, we are committed to creating a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, whether that’s in the classroom, in the workplace or even on the baseball field,” Wargo said.
