Everything You Need to Know About Chi-League 2022
Our second annual Chi-League Pro-Am tournament has begun. Read on for all the details, including dates, times, this year's stellar lineup and how you can get involved.
For the second year in a row, Wilson teamed up with Dreamville and the YMCA to host the second annual Chi-League Pro-Am Tournament. Inspired by a shared and deep-seated love of basketball, our month-long tournament engaged all levels of players and fans in the community.
We brought together current NBA stars, former NBA players, current and former collegiate standouts and local legends. This tournament celebrates the best of basketball culture, both off and on the court. Throughout the month of August, 16 teams (eight male and eight female) competed in a single-elimination tournament at the University of Illinois Chicago.
Chi-League is a pure expression of the love of the game. No NBA structure or head coach is directing the offense, which means players can be their authentic selves and put their unique playing styles on display.

COMMUNITY IMPACT
We all know the love of the game extends far beyond what happens on the court. That's why Wilson has again partnered with the YMCA to host a variety of youth clinics, a town hall and a career panel. Participants experienced playing in a college arena while legendary NBA skills trainer Chris Brickley ran them through drills. There was also a health and wellness component led by strength and conditioning trainer Derreck Baker, who gave the kids fitness programming to help them stay active. To conclude the event, we made a $20,000 donation to the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
