THE WILSON CONNECTED FOOTBALL SYSTEM

The Wilson Connected Football Training System tracks your game, so you can diagnose weaknesses and improve your skills. It uses a data acquisition program to evaluate and quantify your quarterback performance with real, objective numbers. After downloading, the metrics are put into graphs and charts for an easy to digest training recap, turning data points into coachable moments.

HOW IT WORKS

Small sensors placed in the center of the football record metrics and send the data to the Wilson connected app wirelessly for download. The sensors don't interfere with any aspect of ball behavior such as spin, weight or velocity. They can record valuable metrics such as, spiral efficiency - how tight your spiral is, spin rate - how fast your ball is spinning, release time - the time between the start of the throwing motion and when the ball leaves the hand, and velocity - the speed of the ball as it leaves the hand of the QB.

THE CONNECTED FOOTBALL SYSTEM IS USED TO TRACK A QB’S SPIRAL EFFICIENCY, SPIN RATE, VELOCITY, RELEASE TIME, SNAP-TO-RELEASE, SNAP-TO-TARGET TIME OF FLIGHT, DISTANCE, AND THROW COUNT.

BENEFITS FOR THE WHOLE TEAM

Tabs 9/2020

NFL players have benefited from connected data by identifying skill areas that might still need attention. Additionally, after an injury, the information can indicate healing progress and recovery benchmarks. At the high school and college level, baseline data can be discovered using our patented system to track growth and help players reach their full potential.

Coaches can use this tangible data to optimize their quarterback's abilities, and create a game plan based on a QB’s assessed strengths and weaknesses. Conditioning staff or trainers can benefit from tracking data for injury recovery and strength development. Also, coaches can recruit more objectively, designing training regimens/drills to help improve metrics and add teeth to the "eye test."

Support Staff & Equipment Managers can use the system to do a ball fitting, meaning the connected system can guide them to a Wilson ball v/ith the proper style and features to best benefit their QB.

QB camps run drills recording their players with real time data, and share that data back to them so they know where they excel, and need to improve. This is information is also very valuable for recruiters. QB training organizations like Football University. Manning Passing Academy. Rivals Camp Series. Elite 11. QB Summit, and the Senior Bowl have all used the Wilson’s Connected Football System.
